Dr. Mohamed Sherif Sirajudeen, Chairman- School Management Committee – IIS Majmaah

Dr. Mohamed Sherif Sirajudeen is an Associate Professor of Physical Therapy at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Majmaah University, Saudi Arabia. With over 23 years of experience in teaching, clinical practice, and research, he is recognized for his contributions to physiotherapy education and rehabilitation sciences at both regional and international levels. He obtained his PhD in Physical Therapy in 2014 and has since focused on advancing research in neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, ergonomics, and pediatric rehabilitation.

Dr. Sirajudeen is a licensed Physical Therapy Consultant under the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. He has actively contributed to the global scientific community as a guest speaker and presenter at international conferences in Germany, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Oman. He has published extensively in high-impact journals and is notably the first researcher in the Gulf region to report the prevalence of joint hypermobility among children. He also serves as an Editorial Member of the Majmaah Journal of Health Sciences. He is affiliated with the World Association of Medical Editors, the Asia Pacific Association of Medical Editors, and the International Society of Physiotherapy Journal Editors, contributing to excellence in medical research publishing.

Dr. Mohd Anul Haq, SMC Member - IISM

Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, Majmaah University, Saudi Arabia


Globally recognized AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science researcher, with pioneering contributions in applying Artificial Intelligence to medical, environmental, and sustainability challenges. He is widely regarded among the early researchers who systematically introduced AI-driven modeling in the Indian context, especially for climate systems and geospatial intelligence. Dr Haq is also among the Top 2% Scientist Worldwide (Stanford–Elsevier, 2023-2025).

He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, India (2010–2013), one of India’s premier engineering institutions, where he developed foundational AI models. His early doctoral work on ANN-based glacier thickness and snow/ice modeling became one of the foundational AI contributions in Himalayan environmental analytics.

Dr. Haq has led and contributed to high-impact internationally funded projects from Saudi Arabia, India, the United States, China, Russia, and Europe. He was among the first Principal Investigators awarded the prestigious Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) research project by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), India, focused on understanding Martian surface geomorphology using Mars Orbiter datasets. He was also among the first awardees of India’s DST Big Data Initiative hyperspectral snow project, in which NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), United States, collaborated on field and data collection, marking an early landmark in AI + Earth observation research. He is also among the recipients of a research grant from the European Space Agency.

His flagship funded projects include brain tumor classification using deep CNNs, climate change forecasting, air pollution and AQI prediction, groundwater intelligence, crop selection optimization, glacier ice-thickness estimation, UAV-based weed detection, and cyber botnet defense systems. His work has translated AI into real-world impact across healthcare, climate resilience, agriculture, space science, and smart cities.

A globally invited scholar, he has delivered keynote and invited talks in China, the United States, Australia, Malaysia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and India, including the 2023 Belt and Road Forum on Digital Earth in Beijing, China, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Microsoft AI for Earth Summit, Redmond, United States.

He has supervised 2 completed PhD scholars and 140 master’s research students, reflecting his growing mentorship portfolio. His scholarly leadership includes 100+ research papers indexed in Web of Science, roles as Academic Editor at various journals, reviewer for more than 400+ WoS research papers, review committee member for RDIA Saudi Arabia, DST India, and the University of Sharjah, and many more. He also contributed as a curriculum architect for Master’s programs in AI and Data Science, and was a recipient of the Outstanding Researcher Award from Majmaah University several times.

Dr. Rashmi.A.Saibannavar, SMC Member - IISM

BPT, MPT (Neurological & Psychosomatic Disorders), MCMT

 

Dr. Rashmi A. Saibannavar is serving as a senior lecturer in the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Rehabilitation at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Majmaah University, AlMajmaah, Saudi Arabia. Accomplished Physiotherapy academic with 17 years of academic experience in teaching, clinical supervision, and curriculum development. She contributed to the planning and supervision of clinical training programs, while actively supporting quality assurance initiatives, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement of academic and clinical standards. She pursued a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2009, specializing in Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders, and holds advanced certification in Manual Therapy.

Her expertise includes neurological rehabilitation and the management of psychosomatic disorders, complemented by advanced proficiency in manual therapy techniques (MCMT certified). She demonstrates strong capabilities in teaching and curriculum development, along with extensive experience in clinical supervision and student mentorship. She committed to research and evidence-based practice, with a solid background in academic assessment and evaluation to support high-quality physiotherapy education. Her research interests focus on rehabilitation strategies, motor relearning, and the application of virtual reality in physiotherapy, aiming to explore innovative approaches to enhance patient outcomes and optimize clinical practice.

In addition to her academic achievements, she is actively participating in university initiatives, engaging in a variety of extracurricular activities organized throughout the academic year, which contributed to personal development, teamwork, and community involvement.

She has a proven ability to deliver high-quality education, clinical advancement, mentor students effectively, and contribute to research and the development of physiotherapy programs. She holds Life Membership with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), reflecting her long-standing commitment and active engagement in the profession

Mrs Tehaseen Kousar M, SMC Member - IISM


 Mrs. Tehaseen Kousar M is a finance professional with a background in business administration and biotechnology, with experience in corporate finance and management operations. She completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Ballari Institute of Technology and Management, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Biotechnology from the same institution.

She has professional experience working as an Assistant Finance Manager at Hothur Steels (2011–2014), where she was involved in financial operations, commercial processes, and departmental coordination. Her work included exposure to manufacturing finance systems, financial analysis, and business process evaluation.

During her academic training, she completed a project on “Foreign Exchange Risk Management at Hothur Steels”, focusing on financial risk analysis and corporate finance strategies. In her undergraduate studies, she worked on a biotechnology research project titled “Role of Micro-organisms in Biodegradation of Plastics.”

Mrs. Tehaseen Kousar has demonstrated strong academic and extracurricular achievements, including district-level recognition in science examinations and essay competitions. She has actively participated in business plan competitions and national-level seminars, reflecting her interest in management and professional development.

She possesses strong skills in financial analysis, Microsoft Office applications, communication, and teamwork, and has a keen interest in human resource management and organizational practices. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada, and Telugu, enabling effective communication across diverse settings.

Overall, her profile reflects a combination of finance expertise, multidisciplinary academic background, and professional experience, supporting her ability to contribute effectively in dynamic organizational environments.
