Historical Background

IIS Al-Majma’ah had a humble beginning about seven (14) years ago in year 2006 and since the Management has tried to raise the standards of teaching and facilities for the children. It is a community-based school started with contributions from the community to be run on a no-profit no-loss basis. It functions under the supervision of the Ministry of Education (MOE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and is based on the Charter of Indian Schools in the Kingdom. The medium of instruction is English. The school follows the syllabus prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India. It is worth mentioning here that we have not been able to achieve all the goals we set for ourselves, but we are progressing in the right direction. The school has made steady improvement in the standards of academics as well as the facilities. All this has been made possible only because of the honest efforts of our teaching and the administrative support staff. We must also thank all the parents for their co-operation, patience and insistence without which it would not have been possible to run the school. We are proud to be imparting education not only to children from India but also to the children coming from different parts of the world specially Asian and African countries.

Our school has already been granted provisional affiliation by the CBSE that is valid till 2021 and by that time we have to meet certain requirements to get permanent affiliation. On the basis of high-quality performance of our school Ministry of Education has renewed our license for another one or three years.
